Ramadan Foods

Hi there! Here in Oman, Muslims are celebrating "Ramadan Kareem" (2012). I will not discuss about Ramadan Kareem because I don't know much about it, because I am not a Muslim. But because they are so generous in giving/sharing their foods during Iftar (their meal after sunset - 7pm).I will share to all of you some photos of foods that they eat during Iftar. I don't have any idea what they eat during Suhoor (Pre Dawn Meal) because I'm sleeping during that time haha.

Can you help me name some of them? because I don't know some of the names.

Pizza Hut Sohar, Oman

What can I say about pizza hut? same as all pizza hut. LOL! But of-course this Branch is Located in the middle east specifically here in Oman so they have their own flavored pizza example,which is only available in middle east.

Service? The one that I have encountered, he just use his memory in taking order, because of his over confidence, he forgot my order (thumbs down). 

And yesterday (23.7.2012)  we went again in Pizza Hut Sohar to order our all time favorite Seafood Stuff Crusted Pizza and Beef Lasagna for Dine-In. After he took our order he told us "Mam/Sir I can prepare for your orders but you are not allowed to eat. We asked him, why? He answered "Because of Ramadan". What time are we allowed to eat? he answered "7pm". Time check (06:40pm) We said ok, we will wait. _ All the orders were served by 7pm. We are looking at our orders. We asked him again, "Can we already eat?" he answered "I don't know mam/sir". What? I don't know if he is joking or what, but we waited for 20mins and we are already hungry. And he is not sure of his answer. So we already ate our order without hesitations and we already don't care.

We respect Ramadan as their culture but I want to know if that is right that they don't let us eat even though not all their customers were Muslims.

Anyway, that thumbs down for the service is still 2/10. So, I will say that their service is still good. 

About the ambiance of the place, it is very relaxing.

               We went to Pizza Hut in Sohar Oman to celebrate Kuya Raul's Bday. I ordered this Chicken Alfredo because this is my favorite. But I become disappointed of its taste. It taste like a Salty Sopas with over cooked Pasta.

I think this Kargeen Caffe is so popular in Oman. Try to visit there! :) It is located in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos.




I only got one photo of their food. Because I'm really hungry that time and the foods were really good, that's why I forgot to take some pictures.

Ice Creams in here!

I want to introduce you to some of the sweets that I already tasted here in Oman.


Magma Icecream- This one is nice. I like its taste especially the chocolate coating of it.
